Creating Buzz for Block-Based Design

The Difference in the Industry

LPR and Aristo began a discussion of block-based design that has created wide and still-growing acceptance for a new solution for next-generation designs.

Problem

Define a new concept for the industry: "Block-based design."

Establish block-based design as critical for multi-million-gate ICs.

Erase Aristo's reputation in the industry as a floor-planning company.

Establish Aristo as the technology leader and undisputed authority on block-based design.

Results

Aristo is positioned as the first vendor dedicated to next-generation block-level design.

Simon Bloch, CEO of Aristo, is often called by editors for his overview of design planning and physical design.

Aristo is a vendor that editors routinely include in articles on solutions for multi-million-gate designs.

Block-based design is an accepted niche term, supported publicly by EDA vendors, journalists, editors, and such analysts as Gary Smith of Dataquest.

Other EDA vendors perceive Aristo's technology as complementary to—not competing with—existing products.
